FAQs

What roles are you currently hiring for at MindVibe?

We are actively hiring Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (NPs) in California and Texas for both telepsychiatry and in-clinic positions. All roles focus on psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care in a collaborative, patient-centered setting.

Do I need prior telepsychiatry experience to join MindVibe?

No, prior telepsychiatry experience is not required. We provide a complete telepsychiatry onboarding program that covers technology, documentation standards, clinical workflows, and best practices for virtual psychiatric care.

What type of patients will I see?

MindVibe primarily serves adults and older adolescents with conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and other psychiatric needs requiring evaluation and medication management. We do not offer psychotherapy; all visits are focused on psychiatric assessment and medication-based care.

Are positions remote, in-person, or hybrid?

MindVibe offers remote telepsychiatry roles, in-clinic positions, and hybrid options depending on location and clinic needs. Telepsychiatry roles are available across California and Texas as long as you live in, and are licensed in, the state where patients are served.

What licensing is required to apply?

Applicants must hold an active Nurse Practitioner license in California or Texas, along with a valid DEA license or eligibility to obtain one. Additional state licenses are welcome and may create future opportunities but are not required to apply.

Do you hire 1099 contractors or W-2 employees?

MindVibe offers flexibility with both 1099 and W-2 options, depending on the role and state. We generally prefer 1099 for Psychiatric NPs, as it allows for higher compensation, more schedule flexibility, and a streamlined practice model. Regardless of structure, clinicians receive access to strong support and competitive overall compensation.

What does the onboarding process look like?

Our onboarding process includes orientation to MindVibe workflows, EHR training, telepsychiatry setup if applicable, clinical documentation standards, and support from our clinical leadership. We aim to make the transition smooth so you can focus on patient care quickly and confidently.

What support do clinicians receive?

Clinicians at MindVibe have easy, direct access to a supervising physician and a responsive clinical leadership team for guidance, case review, and ongoing support. Our structure ensures you are never working in isolation—help is accessible and collaborative whether you are practicing via telepsychiatry or in-clinic.

Are full-time and part-time schedules available?

Yes. MindVibe offers flexible scheduling options, including full-time, part-time, and select evening or weekend availability, depending on clinic and patient demand. We work with clinicians to build schedules that support work–life balance while meeting patient needs.

How do I apply to work at MindVibe?

To apply, complete the application form or submit your CV through the careers page on MindVibe.com. After reviewing your background, our team will reach out to schedule an initial conversation to discuss fit, role details, and next steps in the hiring process.
